Re: Non-Dead - Radiators |
Jim -
I saw them open for DSO at the National in Richmond about a year ago. They were damn good and I would see them again, but $35 seems steep to me. Maybe it's just the way things are south of the Mason-Dixon line.
35 bucks at the NORVA gets you in the door and a crack at a $7 cup of Yuengling and 3 bucks change!!

Re: Non-Dead - Radiators |
I haven’t seen them since 1984, but they were a real fun time back then and I’m sure they still are. My brother was living/working in New Orleans and I in Baton Rouge late 82 to spring 84. Used to trek down to NO every chance I got and we’d see them at Tippitina’s. Man they would play all night. They came to Baton Rouge very month to play at the Chimes – just down the street from my apartment. One fond memory . . . one night they were pretty much ready to quit and Ed(keys)asked the audience for a final request. I screamed out “LOVELIGHT” and they smiled bright as can be and went right into it. Fun times. Thanks for reminding me about that!. I say GO. Great dancing music.
